The Infamous Westside Skateshop, pushin’ wood & sole since 97′ and always skateboarder owned and operated. Westside Skateshop was opened in 1997 by former New Deal Pro John Montesi, in his hometown of Tarpon Springs, Florida. A second westside skateshop was opened in Clearwater, Florida in 2009. Since day one the shop has been there to support skateboarding, the skaters, the companies and the local scene. Voted #1 skater owned skateshop by Transworld Magazine, at the core of the shop’s involvement is the Westside Skateshop Team, responsible for many awards, 6 shop skate videos (2 award winning), and reppin’ the shop on the streets and beyond.
